Agathe Quissac, winner of the ‘Prix Collection source d’inspiration’ Prize, 2nd edition

On 25 June, the Fondation Etrillard and the École Boulle awarded the 2024–2026 ‘Collection: Source of Inspiration’ Prize to Agathe Quissac for her work En Deux Temps.

Inspired by a pair of late 18th-century lapis lazuli and gilded bronze candelabra held in the Fondation Etrillard’s collections, Agathe Quissac, a student on the DNMADE Marquetry course, has devised a kinetic wall installation in which two marquetry pieces interact, coming together and separating as they rotate.

This prize reflects our commitment to supporting young talent and demonstrating that heritage is not merely a legacy to be preserved, but also a source of inspiration for the creators of today and tomorrow.

Our warmest congratulations to Agathe Quissac, whose work is now part of the Foundation’s collections.
