The Fondation Etrillard at Homo Faber 2026
The Fondation Etrillard will be participating in Homo Faber 2026, the major international event dedicated to the arts and crafts, which will take place in Venice from 1 to 30 September 2026.
As part of Homo Faber in the City, the Fondazione dell’Albero d’Oro will present the exhibition Metamorfosi di una collezione at the Palazzo Vendramin Grimani.
For this occasion, students from the École Boulle are offering a contemporary reinterpretation of two works from the Fondation Etrillard’s collection. This dialogue between heritage and creativity illustrates how excellence in craftsmanship continues to inspire new generations.
This project highlights the Foundation’s commitment to passing on traditional crafts, supporting young creators and promoting heritage from a resolutely contemporary perspective.
The exhibition forms part of the On the Occasion of Homo Faber 2026 programme, which brings together a selection of exhibitions and events organised across Venice centred on ‘Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light’, presented at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore.
