New exhibition "Per non perdere il filo" at the Biennale di Venezia
Our Italian daughter foundation, the Fondazionne dell'Albero d'Oro, will be opening its new exhibition "Per non perdere il filo. Karine N'guyen Van Tham - Parul Thacker" at the Palazzo Vendramin Grimani on April 20th.
In residence in Venice since February, artists Karine N'guyen Van Tham and Parul Thacker have created works specially designed for the Palazzo around the theme of thread. Thread as a means of expression, a source of inspiration and a metaphor, evoking writing and developing materially in weaving, sewing and the art of embroidery.
These poetic and expressive works continue the commitment of our two foundations to the arts and crafts. This exhibition is a Collateral Event of the 60th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia. It is curated by Daniela Ferretti.
