Founded in 2020, the Prize supports the restoration of public or private natural areas in France and Switzerland. As well as preserving the environment, the aim is to give new life to places that raise public awareness of biodiversity and the richness of our natural heritage.
The Prize is open to entries from French or Swiss public or private owners of landscaped areas that can be visited, in rural or urban areas. Projects may involve a garden, park, forest or farmland, all of which have a landscape, ecological and environmental dimension.
The Prize is awarded to a winner following a technical and heritage assessment by the Foundation, its partners and an annual jury made up of experts in environmental protection. The prize is CHF 30,000.
