Final deadline for entries for the 2024 Natural Heritage Prize

There are 40 days left to submit any project to preserve a natural area in Switzerland or France, with the only watchwords being boldness and transmission. Whether the project involves the restoration or enhancement of forests, gardens, orchards, lakes or farmland, the winning project will be entitled to CHF 30,000 from the Fondation Etrillard to support its transition. Candidates can submit their applications by 29 February on the Foundation's website.

You therefore have until 28 February 2024 to take the plunge and succeed the Ecolieu du Plan du Pont (winner in 2023) or the Association Château et Fabrique/Château de Buzet (winner in 2022). The applications will be analysed by the Foundation and its partners, the Jardin-Patrimoine agency and the agro-ecology consultancy Terre et Humanisme, and then put to the vote of a Franco-Swiss jury of experts in the environment and the conservation of parks and gardens: Marie-Laure Burgener, Catherine Cibien, Antoine Jacobsohn, Claire Méjean and Clément Willemin.
