Flore-Alpe, 2024 winner of the Natural Heritage Prize

For its fourth year, the Prix du Patrimoine Naturel (Natural Heritage Prize) jury has chosen Flore-Alpe, an alpine botanical garden located in the Swiss canton of Valais. This landscaped garden combines conservation, research and scientific outreach to provide a sensitive understanding of the environment.

The jury chose to reward Flore-Alpe for its project to rehabilitate ecosystems typical of Alpine flora, and for its participative mediation with the public.

This is the first time that a Swiss project has won this prize.
