The winners of the Prix de Mélodie - Fondation Etrillard in concert at Reid Hall
Reid Hall, Columbia University's Paris branch, and the Centre international Nadia et Lili Boulanger (CNLB) are organising a concert in tribute to the two Boulanger sisters on 15 March, with performances and readings.
To mark the occasion, the duo that won the Prix de Mélodie - Prix de la Fondation Etrillard at the CNLB singing-piano competition 2023, baritone Florian Störtz and pianist Mark Rogers, will be taking part. They will be performing songs by Nadia and Lili Boulanger, of course, but also by Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, Claude Debussy, Henri Dutilleux, Gabriel Fauré and Maurice Ravel, a repertoire in which they excel.
This event is part of a series of concerts and encounters paying tribute to women artists and intellectuals who have collaborated with Reid Hall, and who have each in their own way transcended boundaries and disciplines: art and academia, climate, and activism.
Friday 15 March at 7pm
