To make music more inclusive to a wider audience, the Fondation Etrillard joined forces with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra in 2019 to give people with disabilities or suffering from social exclusion the opportunity to attend the orchestra's concerts. This initiative was carried out with social organisations in the Geneva municipality: Clair Bois, Partage and Pro Juventute foundations. In 2021, the Fondation Etrillard continued supporting the orchestra by making it possible for residents of Aigues-Vertes, a village for people with intellectual disability to enjoy the orchestra’s rehearsals. The Foundation also supported participatory chamber music and Boomwhacker workshops for village residents, including those with disabilities. These actions contribute to the Fondation Etrillard’s inclusive policy in favour of making music more accessible to a wider audience in Switzerland.
