By supporting the Spring Festival, the Fondation Etrillard encourages the public to explore baroque music in the exceptional setting of southern Vendée’s medieval churches. This year’s programme features Jean-Sébastien Bach, and honours the sacred works of Heinrich Schütz (1585-1672) to celebrate the 350th anniversary of his death. These concerts are also an extraordinary opportunity for the public to meet the artists. After discovering - or rediscovering - the works during the concert, performers and the audience are invited to gather over a coffee in the heart of the Quartier des Artistes cultural campus. For this edition, harpsichordist Béatrice Martin performs the Well-tempered Clavier by Jean-Sébastien Bach, while her colleague, Justin Taylor, reads from the book of Anna Magdalena Bach.
