The Kanadenn website, championed by tenor Kaëlig Boché, helps raise awareness of classical Breton music. The platform will be enriched over time with exclusive audiovisual productions, including the first film ‘Mélodies Françaises de Bretagne – premier cahier’ sponsored by the Etrillard Foundation. This first film brings together 20 melodies by Breton male and female composers, including Rita Strohl, Louis Aubert, Joseph-Guy Ropartz, and Paul Le Flem, presenting several unreleased works. Three brilliant young vocal-piano duos, having received precious instruction from pianist Anne Le Bozec at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, responded to the invitation for this recorded concert.
With this project, the Etrillard Foundation contributes to the transmission and dissemination of a little-known repertoire to a wider audience.
